I am proud to say I spent the first 12 years of my life growing up in Laurel Canyon. Even today when I hang out and walk around there I can hear echoes of what I humbly believe are some of the worlds best songs. Timeless classics from folks like Jackson Browne, Joni Mitchell, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, JT, Carole King, the list goes on. These voices are in my DNA. I can definitely hear their influence when I listen to Walk That Road. The album also represents a shift in craft for me, with the acoustic guitar playing a new and welcomed role in the songwriting process. My journey as a soul - a lover, a very proud father, a musician inside and out, a piano devotee, and a teacher of music to children - all of these things have led to this record. I am happy to say it is no longer mine, but now ours. I hope the joy and love for music we all poured into this recording reaches you, and thank you for listening.

"When you listen to one of Zach's songs, it feels like a song your heart has already heard or wants to hear."

-  Kasia Livingston, hit songwriter

"Over the years, I've met a lot of talented musicians. Zach Provost is at the top of that list. The depth of his musicianship is endless and his great songwriting, arranging and production skills make him a triple threat."

- David Foster, Grammy winning composer and producer

Zach toured the world as the pianist/musical director for multi-platinum recording artist Josh Groban and has performed alongside Elton John, Carlos Santana, Quincy Jones and Willie Nelson among many others.

He currently works as a songwriter and producer, professional gigging musician and heads up the music program at Los Encinos School in Los Angeles. Zach is releasing his latest album, “Walk That Road”, and his critically acclaimed debut "Alive" and the "Heart of the Moment" EP are available at cdbaby and iTunes.
